| Breaking News | | Monday, September 4th, 2028: Marijn 6-6 for White Horses 6 hits in a game has always been a magic number in baseball. Only a handful of players will do that. Get 6 hits in a game and you get your moment of glory... your 5 minutes of fame... you get your name in the record book.
In the White Horses 9-7 win over Unified Korea, Gerolt Marijn was red-hot today, scorching them for hit after hit at Ironsi Stadium.
"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax. I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I must admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for a 6-hit game. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."
On his big day Marijn delivered 6 hits in 6 at-bats.
G. Marijn singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off A. Demarco in the 9th and hit a two-run home run off C. Chiwk in the 10th.
